Memorial Day Weekend 2008

A beautiful weekend is on tap with predicted temperatures ranging from Fridays high of 71 to Sundays high of 77 along with low temperatures in the 50's and partly cloudy skies, we have racing EVERYWHERE in near perfect conditions.
This weekend, there is no excuse for not racing.
Dust off the cars!
Get em ready!
This is not the time to sit at home and watch NASCAR or even mow the lawn!
Its time to go Racin'.

On Friday night Snydersville will be running all classes with the last test and tune day prior to the Briggs Stock Light 2 track series between them and Hamiln on the 30th and 31st. This is sure to produce some great racing action outside of the Microstock world while continuing the great racing that's happened every Friday night for all Microstock divisions.

On Saturday, OVRP will again be running but I have no information if any Microstocks will be there. Will the 53X again be alone or is he setting up for asphalt to go racing on Sunday?

Sunday will be big with 2 planned asphalt races. MOM will again be putting on a show at Mountain Speedway in the Pocono's. These Modifieds are turning 17 second lap times on a 1/3 mile track. That's just over 70 MPH! Once again they are inviting any Controlled Stock cars to come and join them.
However, considering the World Formula Tour is running Poughkeepsie the same day, more C/S powered cars may head that way to give the World Formula motor a run for the money. With 10-15 cars, or more, planning on making the trip, this will once again prove to be a great day of racing with one of the biggest fields of Microstocks in years. Come on out and be a part of it!
